Questions about business lists

Is this a database I download?

No. LeadsIt searches public business information live when you run a search, then visits each business’s website to collect the contacts it publishes. You get the businesses open today, not an old export.

Which contact details do I get?

Name, address, phone number, website, the emails and social pages the business publishes, its rating and review count when listed, and whether it is open. Emails only appear when the business publishes one.

Can I search any industry?

Yes. Type any business type you would search on a map: “bakery”, “HVAC contractor”, “wedding photographer”. Search one city, a whole region or a country.

Is it legal to email local businesses?

In the US, CAN-SPAM allows business email if you identify yourself, include your postal address and honor opt-outs. In the UK, PECR lets you email companies without prior consent if you offer an easy opt-out (sole traders need consent). In Canada, CASL allows it when the business publishes its address and your message relates to its work. LeadsIt only collects public business data.

How much does it cost?
